SELECTION CRITERIA:- 1. Selection for the posts on contract appointment will be made on the basis of written test. The Standard/syllabus of the written test will be determined by the University. The Written Test shall comprise of 100 MCQ questions for 100 marks. The duration of the written test shall be 90 minutes. There will be 0.25 marks negative marking for each incorrect attempt. Number of centers may increase or decrease, depending upon the number of applicants. The center requested by the candidate may not be allotted. 3. Answer keys will be displayed on the University website after the written test on 9 th October, 2022. Candidates will be allowed to send their queries regarding answer keys up to 05:00 PM on 10th October, 2022 and thereafter final answer key will be displayed on 11th October, 2022 on the University website. 4. Category wise merit list of all appeared candidates shall be displayed on the University website. 5. If the candidates having equal score in the written test, then a candidate who is senior in age will be placed above the candidate junior in age. 6. Category wise merit list of selected candidates will be submitted to the MD, National Health Mission, HP. 11 7. The eligibility of candidate(s) called for the evaluation will be determined on the basis of original documents produced on the day of evaluation and Department will not be responsible if any candidate is rejected at that stage or at the time of verification by the appointing authority. As such, the applications of the candidates shall be purely provisional. 8. Summoning of the candidate(s) for evaluation/selection; conveys no assurance whatsoever that they will be selected or recommended. Appointment orders to the selected candidate(s) will be issued by the appropriate appointing authority. 9. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to Court jurisdiction at Shimla. Terms and Conditions:- (1) The appointment against these posts will be purely on NHM contract basis (only on fixed remuneration) initially for a period of one year, which can be extended further subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of the Department as well as approval of the Government of India for the same. (2) The final merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the written examination and no viva-voice test will be conducted. (3) The name of candidates will be recommended as per roster mentioned above. (4) This appointment shall be subject to medical fitness from a Medical Board constituted for this purpose by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. (5) The contract of appointment can be terminated from either side with one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof. (6) Unsatisfactory services, misconduct or remaining on unauthorized absence from duty will result in removal/termination from service forthwith. (7) No residential accommodation will be provided from the State Government Department pool. (8) Twelve days Casual Leave, five days special leave and ten days medical leave will be admissible in a calendar year. 12 (9) She/he will not be entitled for any other kind of leave except maternity benefit as admissible under Maternity Benefit Act. (10) It will be a full time job. No part time shall employment/private practice will be allowed. (11) A contractual agreement shall have to be executed with the NHM on Non-judicial Papers of Rs.10/- duly attested by the Executive Magistrate/Public Notary before joining the post. (12) The candidate will not claim his/her rights for seniority, regularization and confirmation of his/her services. (13) All original relevant documents will be verified at the time of evaluation of documents. (14) Any document(s) made available in the application form, if subsequently found to be false/forged, the services will be terminated at once without serving any notice. (15) This candidate is required to serve in any part of the State. (16) This will be a non-transferable job. (17) The candidate should be in the age group of 18-45 years as on 01.01.2022. (18) Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. (19) The service of the candidates on contract will be purely on temporary basis. The appointment is liable to be terminated in case the performance/conduct of the contract appointee is not found satisfactory. (20) The candidate appointed on contract basis will be paid the contractual amount as mentioned in the detail of posts. (21) Selected candidates will have to submit a certificate of his/her fitness from a Government District Hospital.
